Holiday Gift Guide for Kids Who Love Books (and Giggles!)

The best gifts get opened again and again. Books top that list every time! Here are my favorite picks for the little readers on your list this season.

For the seek-and-find fan

Bentley Finds a Hippopotomonsterous, our 2025 Chanticleer Little Peeps Grand Prize winner, is packed with hidden treats and cotton candy scratch-and-sniff fun.

For the road trip dreamer

Bentley’s Adventure With a Hippopotomonsterous takes Bentley, Betty and Pufff on the fluffiest road trip ever. Pre-order the coloring storybook edition too!

For the little baker

Bentley Makes a Dump Cake pairs perfectly with an apron and a box of cake mix. Bake the recipe together on a snowy afternoon.

For the collector

Start with Bentley’s Fantabulous Idea, the 2023 Children’s Book of the Year, then add the matching coloring storybook so they can read it, then color it.

For stockings

Waterproof Bentley stickers, mismatched socks and our printable activity packs (instant download, no shipping needed!) make perfect little extras.

Gift sets on Etsy

Want it all wrapped up in one? Our gift sets bundle a hardcover with stickers, socks and more, and you can find them in our Etsy shop, MikiTaylorAuthor.
