Bentley’s Fantabulous Idea Takes the World by Storm!

Hey, Hi, What’s up? I cannot contain my excitement! My heart is bursting with joy and pride as I share the amazing news with you! I just found out that my book, Bentley’s Fantabulous Idea, won another award. The International Impact Award for book cover & interior design. Woohoo! The feeling of validation, appreciation, and recognition is overwhelming. I want to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have supported me on this journey. 

First things first, by this time, you all know Bentley is my real life bestest furry not-human friend and of course, the main character in all my books. In his first adventure he tries to solve his bestest not-furry human friend Betty’s school assignment dilemma. Whether he succeeds or not, you will have to read the book to find out, but I will tell you this, the sing-along phrase, it’s easy peasy, just pose & grin a little cheesy, plays a HUGE part in the solution.

But wait, there’s more! The book’s illustrations are equally captivating. The talented illustrator, Eunhye Shin, has brought my vision for Bentley’s world to life in a colorful and charming way. Each page is a visual delight that kids and adults will equally enjoy. The book’s design, cover, and layout are the result of my attention to detail and hours of hard work laying it out perfectly prior to sending to Eunhye and perfecting it after the illustrations were complete. She allowed me to share my vision of what the characters should be doing, acting like, and I was able to pull in some of the things that I love such as a treehouse, an old farm truck like my Uncle Pete use to drive, a pool scene whose inspiration I took from one of my favorite hotels, The Beverly Hills Hotel and so much more. The sentimental inclusions and the hidden treasures set the book apart creating an activity within the book; keeping children engaged for hours. 

The impact of Bentley’s Fantabulous Idea has just begun, and I can’t wait to see how far its reach will go. The book has garnered rave reviews and praise from parents, teachers, professionals and tv personalities, just to name a few. It has won several awards, including this prestigious International Impact Award. As an award winner, I will receive honors and mentioned on the “Go All In Show on abc15” in Phoenix, Arizona; promotion on the International Impact Awards website and press releases announcing the Awards all over the web with links to the Award Winners web page.

I am thrilled and humbled to see Bentley’s Fantabulous Idea inspire and delight. I have received countless messages from parents who tell me their children love Bentley and his adventure and they have even started asking when I will share information about book number two because they want more!! Can you believe it?? It is so fantabulously awesome I can hardly contain myself!! Teachers and parents alike will be able to use the book as a tool for sparking discussions and activities they can find in my comprehensive book guide available on my website.

I am beyond grateful for the success and impact of Bentley’s Fantabulous Idea so far and it hasn’t even officially launched. It is a testament to the power of storytelling and its ability to inspire, educate, and entertain. My hope is that Bentley’s journey will encourage children and adults alike to embrace their creativity, see the value in a furry friendship, and pursue their dreams with tenacity and faith.
